Meditative breathing teaches the mind and body to let go just like the breath, both positive and negative thoughts and feelings come and go.

As you learn to quieten the mind by paying attention to your breathing, distractions begin lose their power making it trickier to disrupt your focus and disturb your mind.

Meditation is not about stopping your thoughts, its about noticing without judgement or attachment and becoming less reactive to them.
